Reportedly, the Chinese Hebei Steel released its price policy for March.
The company decided to raise its prices for hot rolled plates/coils and medium heavy plates by RMB180/ton and it hiked its prices for cold rolled sheets/coils by RMB230/ton.
After the adjustment, the company’s list prices for Q235 medium heavy plates with thickness of 14mm-20mm are at RMB4,100/ton; those for Q235 hot rolled plates/coils with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB4,330/ton and those for cold rolled steel sheets/coils are at RMB4,690/ton.
The above prices include taxes and will become effective from March 1st, 2013.
